This authentic grade 7/8 Panama hat is handmade in Ecuador with toquilla straw, a plant fiber extracted from the ecuadorian plant Carludovica Palmata. Its inner padding is made of cotton so that it does not feel uncoumfourtable during the summer. The hat has an interior reinforcement at the tip of the crown to extend its life. Even so, at Sombrereria Mil we always recommend holding Panama hats by the brim, since toquilla straw is not as resistant as felt.
