Guerra 1855

In 1855 the master hatter Guerra received the first request for a supply of hats for the proud Savoy army. Artisans and true 'hat artists' joined the existing ones, bringing the hat factory to its maximum expansion. The crisis in the sector, around the 1950s, directed exports to increasingly distant countries and markets, which were able to appreciate the art, passion and tenacity of such a particular product.

From 1855 to today many things have changed but the hat has always been a witness to events, in the head of both generals and rebels, traders and artisans, scholars and writers, poets and reactionaries, statesmen and heads of state.
